Prohibited & Restricted Items
At LinknShip, most normal online shopping items are accepted, including clothing, shoes, accessories, household items, dry replacement parts, electronics, toys, tools, and many everyday consumer products.
Some items cannot be accepted or shipped because of safety rules, carrier restrictions, customs rules, U.S. export laws, or destination-country import laws. Some items may require a quick review before we can ship them.
If you are unsure about an item, please submit the product link before purchasing or shipping it to our warehouse.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not accepted by LinknShip and cannot be shipped to our warehouse or forwarded by our service.
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, marijuana, THC products, cannabis products, or drug paraphernalia
- Stolen goods
- Counterfeit products, fake brand-name items, replicas, pirated goods, or unauthorized copies
- Any item prohibited by U.S. law, carrier rules, customs rules, export regulations, or the destination country

- Paint, spray paint, solvents, thinners, stains, resins, adhesives, or strong glues
- Bleach, pool chemicals, acids, corrosives, poisons, oxidizers, pesticides, or toxic substances

- Radioactive materials
- Liquid mercury
- Hazardous waste
- Any item considered dangerous goods or hazardous material by the carrier
Alcohol, Tobacco, Vape, and Controlled Products
- Beer, wine, liquor, or alcoholic beverages
- Tobacco products
- Cigarettes, cigars, or smokeless tobacco
- Vape products, e-cigarettes, vape liquid, or nicotine products
- CBD, THC, marijuana, hemp-derived intoxicating products, or cannabis-related products
Medication and Medical Substances
- Prescription medication
- Controlled substances
- Steroids
- Injectable medication
- Human or animal medication
- Biological samples
- Blood, tissue, bodily fluids, or lab specimens
Batteries and Battery-Only Shipments
- Loose lithium batteries
- Spare lithium batteries
- Power banks
- Standalone battery packs
- Used, damaged, swollen, defective, or recalled batteries
- Any battery shipment not approved by LinknShip or the carrier
Electronics with batteries may be accepted after review, but battery-only shipments are generally not accepted.
Food, Plants, Animals, and Perishables
- Fresh food
- Frozen food
- Meat, dairy, seafood, or produce
- Items requiring refrigeration
- Seeds, plants, soil, fertilizer, or agricultural products
- Live animals, insects, eggs, or larvae
Cash and High-Risk Valuables
- Cash or currency
- Bank notes
- Money orders
- Checks
- Bearer bonds
- Gold or silver bullion
- Loose diamonds
- Loose gemstones
- Precious metals
- High-value jewelry unless pre-approved by LinknShip
Wildlife and Restricted Animal Products
- Ivory

Export-Controlled or Sanctioned Items

- Any item requiring an export license
- Any shipment restricted by U.S. sanctions, OFAC, EAR, ITAR, customs rules, or destination-country laws
Items That May Require Review
The following items are not automatically prohibited. Many of them can be shipped, but LinknShip may need to review the product before accepting or forwarding it.
- Electronics with installed batteries, such as phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, cameras, headphones, and power tools
- Beauty products, cosmetics, creams, oils, liquids, perfumes, colognes, nail polish, or sprays
- Supplements, vitamins, powders, protein products, or health products
- Packaged food, snacks, candy, coffee, or tea
- Medical devices, dental products, or lab-related products
- Drones, GPS devices, radios, satellite devices, cameras, surveillance devices, night-vision, or thermal-imaging products
- Jewelry, watches, collectibles, luxury goods, or high-value items
- Any item going to a country with special customs or import restrictions
- Any item that may require export filing, carrier approval, customs documents, or destination-country approval
Vehicle, Motorcycle, ATV, UTV, and Powersports Parts
Most standard vehicle, motorcycle, ATV, UTV, and powersports replacement parts are accepted.
Accepted items usually include dry mechanical parts, electrical parts, filters, brake pads, belts, gaskets, mirrors, levers, plastics, bearings, sensors, switches, relays, starter motors, ignition coils, and similar replacement parts.
Some parts may require review if they contain or previously contained fuel, oil, fluids, pressurized gas, hazardous materials, batteries, airbags, or chemicals.
Used parts must be clean, dry, drained, and free from fuel, oil, grease, strong odor, or hazardous residue.
Examples of vehicle-related items that may require review include:
- Fuel pumps or fuel-system parts
- Used carburetors
- Used fuel injectors
- Used fuel tanks or fuel containers
- Batteries
- Airbag modules or safety restraint components
- Shock absorbers or pressurized parts
- Parts containing oil, fluid, gas, or chemicals
- Catalytic converters or emissions-related parts
- Engines, transmissions, or large used mechanical assemblies

Package Inspection
LinknShip may open and inspect packages when necessary to:
- Confirm item details
- Verify condition
- Check for prohibited or restricted contents
- Confirm weight and dimensions
- Calculate final shipping charges
- Repackage the item
- Comply with carrier, customs, export, or safety requirements
By using LinknShip, the customer authorizes LinknShip to inspect packages when necessary.
If a Prohibited or Restricted Item Arrives
If LinknShip receives an item that is prohibited, unsafe, restricted, improperly declared, or not eligible for shipment, LinknShip may:
- Refuse the package
- Return the package to the sender
- Hold the package for customer instructions
- Request additional information or documentation
- Dispose of the item if legally required
- Surrender the item to the carrier, customs, law enforcement, or other authorities when required
- Charge the customer for return shipping, storage, handling, disposal, administrative fees, carrier fees, customs fees, compliance costs, or other related expenses
LinknShip is not responsible for delay, seizure, confiscation, penalties, loss, damage, non-delivery, return, or additional costs caused by prohibited, restricted, hazardous, improperly declared, or illegal items.
Important Note
Approval to receive or process an item does not guarantee that the item can be exported or imported into the destination country. Final shipping eligibility may depend on the carrier, service type, item details, customs rules, export laws, and destination-country regulations.
